These birdguides are a great way to get a bird’s eye view of some of the best birding locations in North America. The list is endless and includes areas in which you’ll find a range of species, whether it is a bald eagle or a bobcat.
A few of the best birding locations include the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, the Grand Lakes, Blue Ridge Parkway, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grand Tetons, and the Great Smoky Mountains. Many of these places are within the borders of major cities and offer a plethora of birding opportunities.

One of my favorite birding destinations is the Grand Canyon. I’ve been to the Grand Canyon twice since 2008 and have gotten to view the canyon since then. It’s definitely worth the trip. Most people don’t realize just how big the canyon is, but it’s really big, and it’s just as beautiful to look at as it is to actually be there.
Birds fly everywhere in the canyon, and there is no one on the other side of the canyon. This is where my family was born. We were born on the other side of the canyon, but that was before the Great Smoky Mountains. So if you have a bird watching you can probably have a bird right here.

If you find yourself up here, be sure to check out this map. It’s a very simple map of the Smoky Mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains, and it is a lot of fun to play around with.
The Great Smoky Mountains are a big one in the US. They are very popular in western Tennessee, but they really come into their own in the Smoky Mountains National Park. The park has a lot of trails, and it gets pretty crowded during the busy summertime. There are a lot of great views of the Smokies and they are very well marked. You can even get on the ATV trails and ride along. The park also has miles of hiking trails.
As you walk along the trails you get a sense of how big the park really is. A lot of the trails aren’t marked, but from my experience there were a LOT of people on them. The trails are fairly flat, which is nice, because it means you can get away from the crowds if you don’t want to hike. It also means you aren’t hiking on a trail that has been built only for hikers.
