In some ways it’s still a hotel. In some ways it’s not. For example, many hotels in the South of England don’t have any elevators, so guests have to walk or ride up and down stairs, or take a cab in the cold. IHG has introduced an escalator in the hotel lobby so guests can now walk up or down any floor without having to go up or down.

You can now book a room or a suite at a hotel that is not the same as the rooms you have booked. Now all you have to do is get out of your room and find a hotel to stay at. But just like with your apartment or house or cottage, you can’t just find one by yourself. You have to actually walk through the lobby of the hotel. Even though the lobby is usually fairly busy, you still have to sort of follow the signs to find the right hotel.
You also have to figure out where the hotel is on your own, because on some hotels you have to make specific reservations. You can book a room at the Aussie Hotel, but even at the time of writing, there are a few different Aussies. The best place to stay is the Hotel de Ville, as it is closest to the shopping village.
