By I’ve always loved visiting Penrith. I’ve always been a big fan of the city’s historical sites and architecture. I’ve always found it interesting that the town has a bunch of buildings that stand for the various degrees of the word “penrith.
Penrith is surrounded by a lot of historical buildings and statues. Some of them are more interesting than others, but the one I like the most is the Penrith statue by John Smith.

I mean, they will be there, but no one seems to care. This city has been a ghost town for so long that when someone has a break from the job to go out and have a look, they don’t really think about the fact they are right next to it.
And to add to the lack of attention to the town’s presence, its population has gone from around 4 million to less than 500,000 and most of them are just sitting around in the same place they always have been — in the same building. The only reason we don’t know this is because we just happen to be right next to this place and are oblivious to it.
